This website, built with Claude Code
I built this site myself with Claude Code, from the content model to the custom domain and the SEO. The rule I set for it is the one I use on programmes: every claim has to trace back to a written source.

The problem
A CV restates job titles. I wanted a site that shows the work as evidence: what was handed over, what I changed, and what it produced. I also wanted the site itself to be proof of hands-on building with AI tools.
The call
I set one rule before writing any page: every claim has to trace back to a written source, my own experience record. No invented testimonials, no stock photos, and no number that isn’t already settled in that record.
What I built
- A content model that scales. Each case study is one markdown file. Adding a file puts it on the work page, the homepage and the sitemap automatically, with no other changes.
- Deployment I run myself. Firebase Hosting on a custom domain, with the bare domain and
wwwset up separately andwwwredirecting to the main address. - SEO from the start. A sitemap, a robots.txt that explicitly allows AI crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, Google-Extended, PerplexityBot), structured data for search engines, social-share tags, and a custom share image generated with a short Python script.
- A redesign against real references. The current look was rebuilt from primefold.ai and anthropic.com in September 2026, and the design system is written down so later changes stay consistent.
How I ran it
The same way I run programmes, at a smaller scale:
- A written plan for the SEO work, with each step checked off.
- A decision log that records every significant choice and the reason for it.
- Small, frequent deploys, each one checked in a browser before it went live.
How it was built
I directed the work and made the decisions: what the site says, how it’s structured, what it will and won’t claim. Claude Code wrote and deployed the code. That split is the point. It’s how I’d expect to work with AI tools on a team.
Honest limits
- Search Console and analytics aren’t set up yet, so there are no traffic figures to report.
Every claim on this site has to trace back to something I’ve written down first.
